Lisa Tran holds an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Penn State and spent five years as a research meteorologist at NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratories, working on seasonal forecast verification and snowpack modeling for the National Water Center. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has authored peer-reviewed papers on teleconnection patterns (ENSO, NAO, AO) and their impact on North American snowfall.
